THE AQUA LAIR INTERIOR DESIGN

This mid-century modern glass box on a lake was being marketed as a tear-down. But the owner and lead designer at Modernous saw its true Mid Century Modern design potential hiding among the mold and dated finishes. She and her partner lovingly restored, rebuilt and reimagined it, with a focus on its iconic Wendell Lovett fireplace. With an eye toward a timeless interior design, terrazzo floors and walnut cabinets provided a nod to the era in which it was originally built.
